HOST UK purchased HIS UK Ltd and Hogadata GmbH in a management buy-out from the US parent company HIS Inc. This acquisition provides HOST UK with sole ownership of the recently launched HIS Front Office For Windows and HIS POS systems plus the exclusive rights to all existing HIS products in the EMEA territory (Europe, Middle East And Africa). HOST UK are commited to continuing support for existing AS/400 and S/36 customers whilst developing in Austria the new product ranges to provide existing and new customers with state of the art technology annnd an upgradable future. |

Microsoft Corporation officially endorses HIS Front office For Windows as a true Microsoft Windows product and awards HOST UK Microsoft Solution Provider status. The Sacher Hotel in Vienna (a member of the Leading Hotels of the World) selected HIS Front Office For Windows against fierce competition from other major mainstream vendors, thus combining leading edge technology with the traditional reputation of a hotel that is as much a national treasure as a hotel. The Excelsior Hotel in Cologne (a member of the leading Hotels of the World) also selects HIS Front Office For Windows and HIS POS to replace their outdated system. The prestigious 5 star Hotel Orense in Madrid installs HIS Fron Office For WIndows through the offices of HOST UK's local business partner. HOST UK releases the first Microsoft Windows COnference & banqueting (C&B) system fully integrated into it's successful HIS Front Office For WIndows SYstem. |

The Royal Garden Hotel (a member of Leading Hotels of the World) became the first London 5 star luxury hotel to install the 32bit version of the HIS Front Office For Windows, adding at the same time the PC based HIS POS, HIS Accounts, HIS Stock Control and Delphi Breeze Sales & Catering software. The hotel also installed a vast range of interfaces from HOST UK including Thorn GustLink, Callstar Boss and Vingcard. Zurich Airport selects HIS POS from HOST UK's local business partner HIS Swiss, for it's catering outlets within what is on of the busiest airports in the world. |

HOST UK launches it's HIS Touch POS system at the royal Garden Hotel. Based on the successful PC based HIS POS system, this system is based on industry standard PC technology and unlike other systems dependent on proprietary equipment the new HIS TouchPOS enables the user to handle multiple functions from the terminal including check-out. With the release of Windows 95 and the success of Microsoft Windows NT, HOST UK has released the 32bit successor to thier successful HIS Front Office For WIndows system. This 32bit system provides increased speed and functionality and the ability to link up with any ODBC database. |
